**NEWS: BLOG ARCHIVE NOW ONLINE!**

The 'FEEL FREE' campaign was born out of an incident in the workplace where my sudden desire to share half a pint of milk with my colleagues was regarded by management as 'taking the p*ss'.
Ok, maybe it was bad timing on my part that my offer to share the white stuff with workmates came hot on the heels of an email from management saying that the milk provided by the company was for beverage use and not breakfast cereal use (not guilty).

Anyway, I was kindly invited to have a discussion with the manager shortly after my email, but I put my case quite eloquently, stating that in fact I wasn't simply reacting to the mean-mindedness of the company manifesto on milk rationing, but that I was inspired by this company policy, it was also in part Danny Wallace's fault for putting ideas of campaigns into my head.

'Feel Free' Though means much more than just sharing my milk, or crumpet.....(ooh err Matron) otherwise it would just be buying stuff and giving it away, I'm not arrogant or foolish enough to think that I can save world hunger simply by giving stuff away, anyway I'm already fairly irresponsible when it comes to spending, without trying to bankrupt myself.

Anyway the point is (and I know I sometimes...............maybe always take an awful long time getting to it, the point that is, but I do get there..........at some point) 'Feel Free' is meant to be 'an attitude' leading to 'action'. What does that mean I hear you say............well for me it's about kindness and respect for each other, it's all too easy these days to be suspicious and guarded, but maybe if we make the first move it will set off some huge ripple effect that will shape our futures.

So, my friends, the 'FEEL FREE' campaign is announced. It's all about the positive promotion of GOODWILL and KINDNESS. So go forth and SHARE! (be it milk, wisdom, a helping hand, a joke, a smile, your lunch....maybe draw the line at bodily fluids though.....)

03/03/09 UPDATE: As I sit here updating this (in aninternet cafe airport) A lady has just put a pound in next to me and then immediately had to leave to board plane, she offered the credit to a lady and her two children to use, what did she say?

'FEEL FREE' !!!

8/10/08 UPDATE: This morning I bought some crumpets and butter, ate what I fancied (too much obviously). I adorned the remainder with the slogan FEEL FREE. I know this is not too dissimilar to yesterdays actions, it is however about the ‘attitude’ not the ‘action’

9/10/08 UPDATE: Nobody ate the crumpets - miserable b*ggers......this campaign is a two way thing you know.

10/10/08 UPDATE: A student from Columbia ate the crumpets - Come my fellow countryfolk don't let johnnie foreigner show us the way

3/11/08 UPDATE: I let several people out of junctions this morning, instead of the usual friendly hand gesture beckoning them on, I waved a large hand made 'FEEL FREE' sign at them. I got some smiles which made me smile, mission accomplished my friend.

6/11/08 UPDATE: Bugger.........undone by my own campaign, I was looking forward to eating the last muffin I'd left in the works bread bin (labelled FEEL FREE), and some greedy basket had beaten me to it!!

7/11/08 UPDATE: LH Please accept this as a public apology for the heinous crime of spelling your country incorrectly, Colombia not as previously spelt.

28/03/09 UPDATE: In case you were wondering who left the tea and coffe for your arrival Port 3, at FLS it was me and me colleagues from STB 3
